About Me
I have always been and always will be a student of anything that has to do with creativity and art. It is the quality that I am most proud of and I believe it was handed down to me by my mom. She has been my inspiration since I was a little girl. I would spend hours at a time watching her sew as I eagerly gathered up scraps from the floor to dream up outfits for my dolls. I knew that my curiosity and ambition to create would lead me somewhere, but, I never really knew where to, exactly.Later, I attended high school and college for Fashion Design and Patternmaking, which will always have a place in my life, but jewelry was appealing to me because it requires less space and it’s easier to work with. In addition, I realized that many of the design concepts I learned in school could easily be scaled down to apply to jewelry.
I worked for a reputable wedding gown designer for six years, where I worked on beading, draping, embroidery and other precise detailing, until their closing in August 2005.
